Responsibilities

• Execute guest reservations, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members and be present at the desk during all hours.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities to assist guests seeking information.
• Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are processed in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property.
• Assist in optimizing room rates by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates.
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Quote daily rates and issue credits as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in administration of applicable property management systems.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Experience in accurate cash handling and credit card processing; ability to maintain security of confidential information.
• Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards.
• Experience working with a computer, including data entry.
• Strong teamwork skills; works well with others.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to put guests’ needs first.
• Approachable and able to encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members.

Physical Requirements

This position can be physically demanding. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.

Pay

Pay Scale: $13.00 - $22.86/hour (rate depends upon state/market and experience).
