Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational effectiveness of the community, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  • Lead community staff and consultants in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.
  • Develop financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning; measure results.
  • Create marketing and communication plans to maximize census and reduce vacancies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with ethical and religious directives for Catholic health facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and guarantee high-quality care and services.
  • Serve as liaison between the Board of Directors and leadership, participating in governance meetings.
  • Manage staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, and ongoing education.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Nursing Home Administrator credential prior to hire or transfer.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years required; 15 years preferred. Leadership experience of at least 5 years is also preferred.
