General Manager (Full-Time)
The General Manager position contributes to McDonald's success by leading a team of crew to create and maintain a positive experience for our customers and crew. The store manager is responsible for managing the overall operation of the store, including supervising staff, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing financial performance, and maintaining safety and security. The manager models and acts in accordance with JADT Food Group LLC guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership: Setting goals, developing organizational capability, demonstrating a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events, and managing transitions to keep the store operating smoothly. Training and holding the crew accountable for delivering excellent customer service, developing action plans, motivating the team, and promoting the culture and values of JADT Food Group LLC.
- Planning and Execution: Developing strategic and operational plans, managing staffing levels, using operational tools to ensure excellence, analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with wage laws. Soliciting customer feedback and using operational tools like Labor Scheduling, cash management, and inventory management to meet objectives.
- Development & Team Building: Coaching and assessing crew performance, setting challenging goals, fostering positive relationships, ensuring legal and operational compliance, and recognizing achievements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in community relationship building
- Clear communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to manage store operations independently in a fast-paced environment
- Resource management, interpersonal skills, customer service knowledge, supervisory practices, organization, problem-solving, team-building, leadership, and workload prioritization skills.
