As an In-Store Grocery Shopper / Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk at Fred Meyer, you will select and gather products for customers\' online orders with attention to freshness and quality, assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars for pickup. Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers\' online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders; assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers\' cars for pickup.
• Scan and bag orders following bagging standards; communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customer orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve, load, and ensure the accuracy of customer orders when placing in cars; provide positive customer service to encourage online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system and determine substitutions for out-of-stock items per policy.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report discrepancies and needed repairs.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment; manage conflicts constructively.
• Operate with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information; follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support and assistance to diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults; perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to read shelf tags
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Desired Previous Experience:
  • Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
