Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Administrative Office (on-site position), Bellingham, WA

Position: Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, non-exempt (hourly)

Salary Range: $28.34 - $39.69 Hourly

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruiting program at FCN, including managing requisition and posting processes, developing outreach strategies, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Engage in follow-up with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Develop tools and resources to support interviewing and selection, and assist in the offer process by articulating FCN\'s value proposition.
  • Mentor and be a key resource to the HR Coordinator and HR Assistant; provide support during high volume periods or when staffing gaps occur.
  • Support the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with FCN\'s mission and goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of core HR programs and workflows and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and HRIS systems, including reporting, data visualization, and dashboards.
  • Professionalism and ability to provide exceptional service to candidates, staff, leadership, providers, and students.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail; strong critical thinking and ability to reprioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive HR matters with calm and compassion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor\'s degree in Business, HRM, Organizational Development or related field desirable but not required.
  • 4+ years of comprehensive HR experience (employee relations, leaves, benefits, compliance, recruiting, etc.).
  • Healthcare and/or multi-site organization experience preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Immunization & Physical Requirements: Employees must meet immunization standards per applicable guidelines. Some exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
