THE OPPORTUNITY

This position is a global support role. This person will report directly to the U.S. Human Resource Business Partner, and you will play a pivotal role in supporting both U.S. and Canada HR Business Partners, Director of HR, and Payroll Manager in various aspects of HR functions. This role involves active participation in onboarding, offboarding, staffing, total rewards, benefit administration, culture promotion, and various HR initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of HR programs, maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment, and contributing to the positive workplace culture. In the role of HR Associate, you will be joining a world-class Human Resources team that delivers innovative solutions to tough problems.

This position is fully onsite and working from our Riverside office location. Currently, the working hours for this role are full-time, 40 hours a week. Please note that as our company evolves, working arrangements, locations, and hours may change to meet business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • New Hire Onboarding & Orientation: Own the New Hire Onboarding & Orientation program, including new hire communications, I-9 documentation, paperwork, and coordinating training.
  • Employee Offboarding: Facilitate the offboarding process for terminated employees, ensuring a smooth transition by scheduling exit interviews, assisting in the collection of Company assets, and providing the necessary information regarding benefits and final pay.
  • Staffing & Recruiting: Support hiring and site expansion efforts. This may include scheduling intake meetings, posting vacancies, reviewing resumes, phone screening potential candidates, scheduling candidates for virtual or onsite interviews, greeting candidates when they come onsite, conducting feedback sessions with hiring teams, drafting and sending offer and promotion letters, and candidate follow-up as needed.
  • Total Rewards: Assist with all benefit enrollment and assist in developing progressive recognition, compensation, and benefits programs which align the needs of the business.
  • Benefits & Compensation: Assist in annual Open Enrollment, calculate benefit premiums and enter into HRIS system, support payroll with audits and testing, and support the company’s Long-Term Incentive Plan process.
  • Culture & Vision: Share a compelling vision of the organization's future, fostering a passion for excellence, and connecting team visions to the organizational goals.
  • Career & Partnership Events: Attend and support events, including logistics, travel arrangements, collateral creation, booth setup, and post-event engagement.
  • Employee Records & Reports: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and generate necessary reports while ensuring confidentiality.
  • In-house Events, Training, & Program Roll Out: Assist in organizing employee events, training sessions, and other HR programs; collaborate cross functionally to ensure successful communication efforts are reached, employees have access to the appropriate resources and gathering post-event feedback.
  • HR Projects & Initiatives: Contribute to assigned HR projects and initiatives, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment. Process and document creation, update and maintain the teams SharePoint and Team Page.
  • Other duties as assigned: Be flexible and proactive in taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Travel amongst the different facilities in Tennessee; with rare, but potential, travel to Nova Scotia, Canada.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

  • Associate Degree in Business
  • Prior recruitment support experience.

And it would be extra awesome, if you also have:
