We are excited to announce it is accepting applications for HR Manager for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles/Glendale.

REQUIRED: Prior HR Manager in a Hotel and ADP WFN Experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Embassy Suites by Hilton guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
  • Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
  • Process of all new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Assist managers with the review of meal periods, missed punches, over-time and payroll processing related matters
  • Provide support in the delivery of corporate programs/communications such as recognition, development, and company celebrations
  • Assist hiring managers with recruitment and selection efforts including posting positions, interviewing and completing references
  • Represent the Company to outside agencies including appearances at unemployment hearings
  • Assist with monthly health insurance enrollment process using HRIS
  • Work with Corporate HR in managing leaves of absence in compliance with FMLA/CFRA/PDL laws
  • Update bulletin boards and compliance posters as needed
  • Coach supervisors and managers in managing performance issues
  • Assist managers with the performance review process
  • Responsible for tracking and assisting with New Hire Orientation
  • Maintain team member files using ADP WFN
  • Other duties as needed

Knowledge/Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • HRIS (ADP WFN) experience REQUIRED
  • Languages: Written and verbal understanding of English; fluent in Spanish a plus
  • Three years or more of related experience in Human Resources (Hotel)
  • Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Highest level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels in the organization
  • Experience conducting harassment, discrimination, and workers’ comp investigations

Job Type

  • Full-time
  • Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year DOE
