Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its Seattle, WA office. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff cases and wage & hour class action litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work with premier local and national employers on a wide range of sophisticated legal matters.

Location:

Seattle, WA

Duties:

Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including single-plaintiff cases and wage & hour class actions

Provide legal counsel to employers on various labor and employment law matters

Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and court appearances

Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

Manage client relationships and provide direct client interaction

Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues and litigation strategies

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment litigation, including wage & hour and single-plaintiff cases

Strong understanding of labor and employment law

Experience handling complex legal matters and managing litigation cases independently

Ability to interact directly with clients and manage relationships

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admitted to practice law in the state of Washington (or ability to gain admission upon hire)

Skills:

Strong litigation experience, particularly in labor & employment law

Experience in handling wage & hour class actions

Excellent communication and client management skills

Strong legal research and writing abilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Low turnover with a collegial and collaborative environment

Direct client interaction and significant responsibility on complex legal matters
