Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with over 500 franchise locations in the US and Canada. We are expanding and seeking a qualified General Manager focused on sales and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. This role offers the opportunity to engage with clients daily and foster a supportive community.

Position:

The General Manager will oversee all studio functions, including sales and operations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant experience (preferred)
  • Proven ability to generate personal sales and train sales staff
  • Experience managing multiple revenue streams such as memberships and retail
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to a fast-changing, diverse environment
  • Solution-oriented, results driven, competitive spirit
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes judiciously
  • Passion for fitness
  • Strong writing and grammatical skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, capable of prioritizing tasks
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and organized
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and the public
  • Proficiency with computers and studio management software
  • College Degree (preferred)
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends; travel to California for training required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking
  • Implement sales processes to convert prospects into classes
  • Drive membership and retail sales
  • Manage staff scheduling
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper inventory levels
  • Supervise sales staff and instructors
  • Utilize gym management software for revenue and attendance reports
  • Evaluate instructors and customer service quality
  • Handle customer dues collection
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Ensure availability of administrative supplies and studio literature
  • Participate in community events and promotions
  • Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Perform other duties as assigned
