As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in the warehouse intercepting, processing, and keying orders into our system. As the primary contact for our internal departments and external customers, you must have an outgoing, professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for quickly solving problems with satisfactory solutions. The base hourly pay rate for this role is $26.72. In addition, you'll receive a $0.50 shift differential for working the 2nd shift and a $1.00 shift differential for the Weekend Shift.

We are currently hiring for the following full-time shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 AM
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Weekend Day Shift: Friday - Sunday | 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Weekend Night Shift: Friday - Sunday | 12:00 AM – 12:30 PM

How you create impact
Examine records and inform customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed
Promptly respond to emails and customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and follow up quickly
Enter orders into an automated system
Compile, sort, and verify records for accuracy, file documents and reports
Embrace and model a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
Confer with various departments and carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments; compile statistics and prepare various reports
Sign in Drivers with the correct documentation
Gather and assess data and quantify results to ensure accurate and complete information
Create and provide internal and external distribution center reports
Provide back-up support for other departments when needed
What we would like you to bring
2+ years of full-time customer service experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Experience with AS400 or any Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Strong ability to quantify results and create accurate reporting
English fluency (written and verbal)
