Job Title: Entry-Level Ophthalmic Technician (Full-Time)


Location: Topeka, KS


Pay: $17/hr to start


Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (variable clinic hours)


Training: On-the-job training provided


Are you looking to launch your career in the medical field? We're seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Ophthalmic Technician to join our dedicated team in Topeka, KS . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a professional ophthalmology setting with no prior certification required.


What You'll Do:

  • Greet and escort patients to exam rooms
  • Accurately document patient information using our electronic medical record system (EMR)
  • Perform basic vision tests, pressure checks, and administer eye drops (we'll train you!)
  • Support imaging and diagnostic testing as needed
  • Work closely with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure a positive experience
  • Help train new team members
  • Assist with general clinic operations as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • A team player with a high level of professionalism and strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to travel between clinic locations
  • Desire to grow and gain medical experience-no certification required!
  • Previous medical experience or a degree in a related field is a plus, but not required

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation for travel to multiple clinic sites
  • Flexibility with daily work hours (clinics may run from 7 AM to 5 PM depending on the day)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
