Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team, responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical area. The position includes both pre-analytical and post-analytical responsibilities, and you will perform specified analytical testing as assigned, following our Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.

Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.

Ensure proper entry of specimens into the company’s computer system.

Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the correct analytical area.

Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

Follow guidelines outlined in the Code of Conduct.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy.

Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.

Experience in laboratory and specimen processing.

Bilingual in English and Navajo.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma required.

Experience in patient care.

Work Environment

The role will be based in a doctor's office, drawing blood from the physician's patients and working closely with medical assistants. The position is located in Scottsdale, AZ, with rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 7 PM. There is potential for career growth, with opportunities to advance to Phlebotomy Technician II after six months, which includes a pay increase. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
