Job Title: Phlebotomist - JNR PSCJob Description

We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our patient service center team, where you will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. This role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, accurate data entry into the company's computer system, and preparation of samples for analytical testing. You will also be responsible for the distribution of specimens to the appropriate analytical areas and may perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Adherence to the Code of Conduct is essential.

Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing in a patient service center setting.

Collect and receive biological specimens and enter them accurately into the computer system.

Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the proper analytical areas.

Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

Ensure compliance with pre and post aspects of analytical testing.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.

Experience in laboratory settings and patient care.

Comfortable working in a team environment.

GED or High School Diploma required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6 months to 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience preferred.

Work Environment

The phlebotomist will work inside a patient service center alongside two or more phlebotomists. The work hours are from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. The environment encourages growth and provides opportunities for career advancement, including a career ladder that offers a 4% pay increase after six months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
