• Location: Peoria, IL (Advance Care Unit) – Illinois healthcare jobs
• Job Title: Charge RN – Travel Night Shift
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2370 - $2430 per week
• Shift: Five 8-hour night shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/17/2026)

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• College Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Charge RN or nursing leadership preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills
• Experience in Advance Care Unit or similar hospital setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff in the Advance Care Unit during night shifts
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse patient populations
• Interpret complex patient data and make evidence-based clinical decisions
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform bedside lab testing and ensure quality control standards are met
• Provide patient education tailored to individual needs
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and national healthcare safety goals
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and unit-based councils
• Promptly address patient and family requests, anticipating healthcare needs
