Leidos is seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Architect and Technical Manager to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA's Digital Modernization Strategy. The role involves building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces to support the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month. Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week in Woodlawn, MD. Responsibilities
Lead the ServiceNow Architecture development, enhancements and implementations. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in utilizing ServiceNow for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (i.e., AI and automation). Build roadmaps, provide recommendations, lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to enhance and fully utilize ServiceNow services and capabilities. Provide assistance to development teams as needed. Foundations for Success (Basic Qualifications)
BS Degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 12+ years of experience as ServiceNow Developer 8+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect 8+ years leading ServiceNow development teams Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Required ServiceNow required certification: Certified System Administrator (baseline) Certified Application Developer (baseline) ServiceNow CIS certification in multiple areas: CIS - Customer Service Management CIS - IT Service Management CIS - Discovery CIS - Service Mapping CIS - Strategic Portfolio Management CIS - Application Portfolio Management CIS - Software Asset Management CIS - Hardware Asset Management 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews. 5+ years of experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies 5+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.) 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions. Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.) Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly Experience with the US Federal Government How to Stand Out from the Crowd (Desired Skills)
Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR Project Management or Agile certification ITILv4 Foundations Certification Additional Information
