Overview

Associate Technical Consultant (December 2025 Graduate) at Appian. The role is part of Appian's Customer Success team, which focuses on delivering mission-critical business impact fast and partnering with customers to bring their ideas to life. You will build and deploy web-based applications using the Appian platform and gain hands-on experience across the full project life cycle to drive digital transformation for customers. This role is based at our HQ in McLean, VA. In-person collaboration is a key part of Appian culture, and employees are expected to be in the office 4 - 5 days per week to foster teamwork and strong relationships across teams. Responsibilities

Build and deploy web-based applications using the Appian platform to support customers’ business needs. Define requirements, launch new data models, build APIs and integrations, and collaborate with business users and technical teams. Contribute to delivering impact for customers by participating in the full project life cycle and learning how to become a trusted advisor for digital transformation. Qualifications

The ability to leverage experience in process improvement disciplines, including business process management, knowledge management, personalization, business intelligence, and application integration. The skill set and experience to construct, implement, and deploy process-centric BPM solutions using the Appian platform. The ability to analyze a client’s business strategy and processes to develop technical solutions. The desire to use a design thinking approach for prototyping and modeling business processes. A solid foundation of, or passion for, technology. Basic Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or equivalent background. Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.) and cloud technologies preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel; 20% travel requirement.
