Do you want fertility care to be effective and accessible for all? Patients today face limited options for fertility treatment, and the path to receiving them is laid with numerous barriers. There are fewer than 500 clinics nationwide, meaning the median distance between a patient and their closest clinic is 120 miles round trip. Outcomes are far from guaranteed, and each cycle can cost upward of $25,000 whether it works or not. Obi is setting out to break down these barriers one by one, so that every patient can receive high quality care. Role Overview

We’re seeking a Marketing Lead to own our early marketing strategy, execute campaigns that drive growth and engagement, and build the foundation for a best-in-class marketing function. As Obi’s Marketing Lead, you’ll be the first dedicated marketer on the team — rolling up your sleeves to both set strategy and execute campaigns. You’ll own acquisition, engagement, and brand initiatives, test and scale new channels, and create compelling content and messaging that resonates with patients, providers, and partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice of Obi Health from the ground up while driving measurable growth. Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute Obi’s marketing roadmap across patient acquisition, engagement, brand, and retention. Balance hands-on campaign management with longer-term strategy and planning. Acquisition & Growth

Launch and optimize campaigns across digital advertising, social, content, paid media, referral, and partner enablement. Manage Obi’s website, SEO, and performance marketing. Build referral and partner co-marketing programs. Engagement & Retention

Create lifecycle campaigns (email, SMS, push, direct mail) to drive onboarding, education, re-engagement, and satisfaction. Partner with Product and Clinical teams to design moments that improve retention and patient outcomes. Brand & Content

Define and refine Obi’s voice, messaging, and positioning. Create compelling content for social, blog, newsletters, and thought leadership. Oversee creative assets and brand consistency across all channels. Data & Insights

Establish metrics and dashboards to track performance (CAC, LTV, engagement, conversion, retention). Run experiments and leverage analytics to optimize campaigns and messaging. Qualifications

5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or consumer tech. Proven track record of driving both acquisition and engagement in a growth-stage environment. Strong hands-on experience with digital channels (SEO/SEM, social, paid media, lifecycle/email). Excellent storytelling and brand-building skills. Data-driven mindset, comfortable with analytics and A/B testing. Experience managing vendors, freelancers, or small teams; excited to grow into a leadership role. Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment with high autonomy. Nice to Haves

Background in fertility, women’s health, or broader health tech. Experience with CRM / marketing automation tools. Exposure to payer / provider / partnership marketing. Ability to create scrappy creative assets (copy, design, video) when needed. Located in Chicago or New York. Why Join Obi Health
