The Position The
Audit Senior/Manager
will lead and manage multiple audits including planning, risk assessment, performing substantive work, and reporting. This role involves financial statement analysis, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
Plan and perform audits from start to finish, including assessing risks, developing audit plans, reporting preparations, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Conduct substantive testing and analyze financial statements with accuracy.
Prepare timely and accurate audit reports and present findings to client leadership teams.
Evaluate internal controls and policies and provide recommendations for improvement.
Serve as a main point of contact for clients during audits, addressing questions, providing support and ensuring the process runs efficiently.
Stay current on accounting standards, industry best practices, and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
3-6+ years of public accounting audit experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA License required.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/auditing software.
Experience with Single Audits and Employee Benefit Plan Audits is a plus.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to provide actionable recommendations.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Pittsford Samuels, PLLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
