We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager for our Al Fresco business, which comprises a portfolio of all natural value-added chicken products and is the #2 brand of chicken sausages nationally. You will be responsible for supporting the Al Fresco team. Responsibilities include assessing business performance to provide key insights that drive brand direction across the 4 Ps, leading the development and launch of new products and renovations, supporting marketing communications and messaging, and supporting the creation and execution of the annual marketing plans to deliver growth. This is a hybrid role based out of our Chelsea, MA headquarters. Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Who you are

Be the consumer champion by leveraging data tools and consumer research to develop a deep understanding of consumer unmet needs, marketplace trends, and the competitive environment Track and assess performance vs plans, build gap plans to ensure delivery against business objectives (share, sales, margins) Lead the cross-functional team to deliver product innovation, product renovation, and high impact promotional events Execute and assess performance of consumer support across tactics in conjunction with Integrated Marketing and Agency partners Contribute to the development and execution of annual marketing plans including analysis of growth opportunities Collaborate with Sales to ensure strong account plans to drive growth and meet targets What you’ll need

2+ years minimum of relevant experience, CPG industry experience is preferred BA / BS required, marketing focus preferred Passion for uncovering consumer needs and insights to drive growth and brand mission Strong project management and leadership ability (Detail oriented, strong communication skills, lead the team to solve and execute) Analytical skills, presentations skills, and creativity Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively Ability to take initiative and apply an appropriate sense of urgency to delivery results High energy and team spirit with a can-do attitude Skilled use of PowerPoint and Excel, experience with IRI / Nielsen data a plus
