St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the governance and execution of our Business Continuity Program. This role will oversee the development, testing, and activation of business continuity plans across all areas of the healthcare system. Key responsibilities include ensuring long-term business and financial resilience, managing crisis and emergency preparedness, supporting disaster recovery efforts, and overseeing supplier and third-party risk and contingency planning. Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive, system-wide business continuity strategy and budget, ensuring alignment with St. Elizabeth Healthcares mission, vision, and values. Governance & Framework Establish and oversee the business continuity governance framework, encompassing four key pillars: Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Supplier Risk & Contingency Management, and Emergency Management. Business Continuity Planning Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for all critical healthcare functions, including hospitals, clinics, and system-wide operations. Risk & Impact Assessment Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify essential operations and dependencies, prioritizing BCP development based on organizational risk levels. Program Alignment & Oversight Supervise and ensure cohesion across the broader business continuity program, integrating IT Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management, and Supplier Risk & Contingency Management efforts. Training & Preparedness Lead the planning and execution of business continuity training, drills, and simulations to maintain organizational readiness. Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices related to business continuity. Crisis Response & Execution Serve as the primary point of contact for business continuity during operational disruptions, directing response efforts and activating continuity plans as needed. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the business continuity program. Minimum Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Masters degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field. Specialized Knowledge
Strong Analytical skills and broad knowledge of healthcare operations. Experience collaborating with IT leadership. Excellent management and organizational skills. Effective communications and interpersonal skills. Kind And Length Of Experience
5 years of experience in business continuity management or a related field. Experience leading direct reports FLSA Status
