Responsibilities
Prepare furniture surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint using airless spray techniques to achieve a smooth and even finish. Mix paints and finishes according to specifications while adhering to color theory principles. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Qualifications
Proven experience in residential and commercial painting, specifically in furniture spray painting. Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills for project planning. Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, masonry, concrete finishing, and maintenance tasks is preferred. Knowledge of restoration techniques and fixture installation is a plus. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics effectively. Strong attention to detail with an understanding of color theory and finishing techniques. Previous experience in construction or maintenance person roles is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
