IC - Air Force DCIPS (DAF)
Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior intelligence analyst and subject matter expert responsible for the direction, oversight, and coordination of analytical support to AFOSI investigations, operations, collections, and target management. Also, serve as a supervisor by planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over a limited staff of nonsupervisory employees.
Duties
Serves as the senior advisor, technical intelligence expert, and consultant on analysis and production support to AFOSI law enforcement (LE) and counterintelligence (CI) activities.
Executes and manages AFOSI counterintelligence, technology protection and support to law enforcement intelligence analysis and production.
Serves as a senior technical authority on law enforcement and counterintelligence support to Air Force-wide programs, identifying, developing and satisfying requirements for intelligence support to each LE and CI team.
Conducts and oversees the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Evaluates relevance and reliability of information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.

All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
PCS may be paid per DoD/AF regulations; may be subject to CONUS agreement.
Subject to DoD Priority Placement Program provisions.
Must be registered for Selective Service.
Employee may be required to work outside normal hours; overtime may be required.
Employee must maintain current certifications.
Disclosure of Political Appointments; Direct Deposit required.
Mobility is a condition of employment; must sign mobility agreement.
Internal background investigation required and approval for duty by AFOSI leadership.
Travel may be required in CONUS or abroad by military or commercial aircraft.
Extensive contacts across intelligence, CI, law enforcement, and security communities.
Polygraph: subject to screening/testing as a position requirement.
Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the OPM Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions. This is a GG-14 position in the DCIPS. The selectee’s salary will be set within the grade equivalent to GS/GG based on qualifications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience demonstrating knowledge of US intelligence and counterintelligence policies, missions, resources, and operations to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and related activities. Creditable experience may include military, private sector, or other government agency experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
The following areas will be evaluated:
Comprehensive multi-source law enforcement or counterintelligence analyst capabilities; ability to coordinate junior analysts and communicate products to diverse audiences.
Ability to plan, organize, and lead cooperative law enforcement or counterintelligence analysis and collection initiatives; ability to direct staff of a small/medium organization.
Comprehensive knowledge of multi-source intelligence analysis; identify trends and propose analytical projects to leadership.
Knowledge of US law enforcement, CI, and intelligence community policies and resources; ability to perform planning and target analysis.
Experience overseeing analytic projects, responding to senior leadership taskings, reviewing products for accuracy, and mentoring junior analysts.
Skill in presenting complex technical material to senior audiences and coordinating with counterpart specialists in related communities.
