Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an advanced allied health professional with demonstrated skills and competency in all required General and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine modalities provided in the hospital. Under general supervision, performs all General and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine procedures within the scope of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Ability to communicate pertinent patient information to the radiologist.
Ability to evaluate the demands of physicians, patients, staff and superiors.
Ability to effectively identify and implement performance improvement techniques.
Ability to deliver quality customer service. 5. Ability to be at work and be on time
Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives
Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience:
One year experience in all areas where routine Nuclear Medicine procedures are provided to include geriatric, adult, adolescent, and neonate patient populations.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
CNMT required
NMTCB or ARRT (NM) required
CRT preferred
BCLS (CPR for Health Care Provider) required
