JOB SUMMARY This role directs and manages Operational Excellence programs, providing oversight and guidance for the portfolio of programs and projects designed to improve operational deficiencies. The incumbent will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across locations and departments to improve operational practices. Designs, implements and executes strategies and works with cross-functional clinical, pharmaceutical, operations, IT and performance management improvement teams to ensure organizational goals are met and optimize outcomes. Leads a team of agile coaches, process designers, and program managers who interact with the business to ideate and implement efficiencies. The role requires a strong leader able to plan and execute components of a strategy, including advanced problem solving, assessing and planning learning gaps, capturing the value of initiatives, and managing change to realize value. Utilizes Six Sigma and Agile tools and disciplines." Responsibilities
Perform management responsibilities to include hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. Provide direct coaching to the executive leadership team on agile and operational effectiveness in partnership with the enterprise effectiveness team; attend leadership meetings to present progress, influence direction, and obtain strategic direction. Partner with all levels of management to assemble project teams and work groups to produce deliverables required to achieve project/program objectives; collaborate with Enterprise Effectiveness, Project Management and Change Office, HMHS, Advanced Analytics, and business owners to drive operational efficiencies. Manage the Operational Excellence department; develop the roadmap and priorities, define the business engagement model, and execute and deliver operational improvement initiatives; ensure alignment with Enterprise Effectiveness and a consistent approach. Lead analysis of enterprise-wide practices to identify opportunities for improvement; assess current processes and implement performance improvement programs; manage key initiatives through disciplined, customer-focused program management; resolve project and program issues; deliver core principles using Six Sigma and Agile delivery. Required Bachelor's Degree Substitutions 6 years of experience in an operational excellence role Preferred Master's Degree in Operational Excellence, Business Administration/Management, or Clinical Programs Experience
Minimum 10 years in Project Management 5 years in the Healthcare Industry 5 years in a Leadership role 7 years using Lean/Six Sigma or other related disciplines Preferred Direct Lean Six Sigma experience in areas such as reducing statistical variation, root cause analysis and corrective action, standardization of processes, closed-loop quality management, performance management & continuous improvement, KPI/OKR systems. Licenses or Certifications

Pay Range Minimum: $126,400.00 Pay Range Maximum: $236,000.00 Base pay ranges are determined by qualifications, experience, expected contributions, internal equity, market, and business considerations. Salary ranges may vary by location.
