Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking a Advisory Product Solution Consultant. This is a unique opportunity to join our team that is responsible for directing our financial professionals with unbiased guidance on available investment products. The Advisory Product Solution Consultant will support financial professionals in understanding how to implement various investment strategies and products into their practice. To support advisor and client investment challenges, the Wealth Management Consultant must have a deep working knowledge of major product lines such as mutual funds, annuities, alternative investments and others, an ability to connect investor challenges to product solutions, and educate financial professionals on how to implement these solutions into their practice. The position requires strong consultative skills and an ability to assist financial professionals with sales ideas, prospecting techniques, overcoming sales objections, unbiased product guidance and determining the best approach to closing sales opportunities, including developing strategies for point-of-sale meetings. The role will regularly interact with numerous departments including Advisory Sales, Growth Officers, Financial Planning, Advanced Planning, Due Diligence, Compliance, Supervision, and Operations. Advisory Product Solution Consultant will provide education to advisors through in-bound and outbound phone activity, support key institutional training opportunities, manage webinars, etc. What you will do

Act as Subject Matter expert for the product lines supported by the team consisting of, but limited to, annuities, mutual funds, 529s, alternative investments, structured products, and donor advised funds Consult with advisors to deliver product guidance specific to client scenarios. Assist advisors with strategic sales ideas and competitive product positioning and provide advisors with guidance as to best-in-class solutions and resources from our partner firms Support advisor education on key investment challenges such as secure income needs and college planning Track phone metrics, emails, and consultations to measure activity, types of questions, etc. Provide leads to Wealth Management Consulting, Growth Officer, National Product Sales Desk & Financial Planning Teams when appropriate Provide industry trend insights to advisors and support marketing and educational campaigns through inbound and outbound calls with advisors, one-on-one consultations, and presentations Interface with partner firms Advocate for the resources, tools, services, and support we provide our financial professionals. Other duties as assigned What you need to have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of Sales experience in the financial services industry FINRA series 7 securities registration. Life, Accident & Health license,Series 65 or 66 a plus Phenomenal communication, presentation, public-speaking and interpersonal skills Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills (Positive attitude and ambition to help others) including adaptability to different personality types Presentation / training skills to conduct group training program Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and self-directed with strength in multitasking prioritization Work well independently and collaboratively, and have a desire to be part of a cohesive team Willingness to learn and self- teach Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point) Industry Credentials such as CFP, CLU, ChFC, CIMA, and CAIA Strong aptitude for technology Ability to solve complex problems, focusing on results Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently or in a collaborative environment Ability to synthesize ideas and concepts into cohesive stories Convey technical information to users in non-technical, clear terms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, and constantly evolving environment Attention to detail and time-management skills. A deep functional understanding of investment and protection products A positive, helpful demeanor State Insurance License highly preferred Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations. LI-Hybrid
