CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Professional Billing Analyst opening for our client in California.

Duties: Configure and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) module for Ambulatory and Behavioral Health settings. Design and build claims logic, charge capture workflows, fee schedules, charge routers, billing rules, and workqueues. Customize workflows to support unique regulatory and operational requirements in behavioral health environments (e.g., group therapy, multidisciplinary services). Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to gather requirements, validate workflows, and implement solutions. Partner with operational teams to support accurate charge entry, coding, and reimbursement processes. Serve as the subject matter expert for PB functions during Epic upgrades, new functionality implementations, and optimization efforts. Develop and execute test plans and scripts for system changes and upgrades. Analyze and resolve issues related to charging, claims, remittance, and billing workflows. Support go-live and post-live stabilization efforts by providing end-user support and issue resolution. Create and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, training guides, and job aids. Ensure billing configurations comply with payer requirements, HIPAA, and other regulatory guidelines. Participate in internal and external audits and support data extraction and reporting as needed. Skills:

Expertise in Epic Professional Billing (PB) module configuration and workflows. Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations including charge capture, claim generation, coding, and reimbursement. Ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders, clinicians, and IT teams. Proficient in testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of Epic PB workflows. Knowledge of behavioral health billing regulations and payer requirements. Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience with Epic Professional Billing (PB) build and support. Proven experience supporting Ambulatory and Behavioral Health billing workflows. Experience with Epic tools such as HB/PB Work queues, Charge Router, SBO, or Single Billing Office is a plus. Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar) is a plus. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience. Certifications:

Epic certification in Professional Billing required. Additional Epic certifications (Resolute PB Admin, Claims, Charge Router, Prelude/ADT) preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
