Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and architects to assess project requirements. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine material needs. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids for accuracy and competitiveness. Assist in preparing project timelines and schedules. Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project documentation. Provide regular updates on cost projections and potential budget variances. Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Construction Estimator should have:
A background in construction, architecture, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
