Lead Toddler Teacher
to join our dynamic and caring teaching team. Help our littlest learners (18 months - 3 years) build independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills through developmentally appropriate, play-based learning.
What You'll Do:
Design and lead engaging toddler lesson plans that spark exploration and curiosity Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom culture Promote learning through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences Guide daily routines and smooth transitions with patience and consistency Maintain open communication and partnerships with families Monitor developmental milestones and document observations What You Bring:
CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree
in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) At least
1 year of experience
working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool program Understanding of child-led learning, developmental stages, and behavior guidance techniques Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Reliability, flexibility, and a heart for working with young children Why Join Sakonnet?

The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors, owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of directors, owners, emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
