Young Audiences Arts for Learning New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania (YA) is an arts education organization that partners with PK-12 schools to deliver teaching artist‑led programming. YA’s mission is to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. Marketing Associate

– 20 hours/week, Exempt Location: Hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ with in‑office requirements during the provisional period and occasional in‑office requirements thereafter. The role supports the Director of Marketing and PR and contributes to YA’s DEIA commitments while building a versatile portfolio in a small team. Responsibilities

Digital Marketing (60%)

Maintain YA’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns Manage content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice Maintain email marketing automation (Constant Contact) to create and deploy targeted campaigns Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and PR to evaluate social media and email analytics and identify improvements Ensure marketing is inclusive and accessible in line with YA Arts United goals and values Manage paid Google search and display advertising

Website (30%)

Update website in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and PR Occasionally build landing pages Upload images and videos to enhance website design Collaborate on a website redesign

Contribute to YA Initiatives (10%)

Support DEIA initiatives according to YA’s Arts United Plan Participate in organization‑wide fundraising events and efforts Perform other duties to contribute to YA’s goals as assigned

Essential Qualifications

1–3 years of relevant experience in arts or education marketing or in a related role Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools and graphic design software (Canva preferred) Creativity, enthusiasm and a clear vision for messaging and branding Attention to detail and strong proofreading/editing skills Creative storyteller with content creation skills Ability to synthesize data (Google and Facebook Analytics, email metrics, etc.) to drive decisions; willingness to learn more on the job Experience with Canva, Sprout Social, Constant Contact and Microsoft Suite preferred Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Ads, video editing and Salesforce a plus On the Job Learning Opportunities

Hybrid role based out of Princeton, NJ; during the provisional three‑month period, additional in‑office time is required. Afterward, one in‑office day per week may be required. YA office hours are 8:30–4:30, M–F Likely visits to in‑school programs; travel within New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania is required (mileage reimbursed at IRS rate) This position involves significant computer usage (email, Zoom/Teams, interoffice communications, data entry).
