Overview
Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcare's newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Eastside Hospital location in Snellville, GA. Piedmont Eastside is a 40 minute commute from Atlanta proper and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This position will support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system. This new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology. Responsibilities
The physician will contribute to clinical care expansion, collaborate with other providers locally and within Piedmont Oncology, and participate in initiatives related to research and care pathways across the system. Qualifications
The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology. The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. He/she must have strong communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients and the patients family/support teams.
