Full-Time/Regular Hiring: Office and Program Manager, Early Medical School Selection Program and Medical Student Community and Inclusion Initiatives The Early Medical School Selection Program (EMSSP) is an early assurance admissions program for the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. The program provides academic and well-being support to enhance academic success and belonging. Medical Student Community and Inclusion Initiatives (MSCII) are closely linked to our Office of Student Affairs. The manager will perform a wide range of professional, administrative and support tasks for the EMSSP and its program director. This role involves effective communication skills with a supportive and collaborative posture with students, faculty, and administrators. The responsibilities of this position include: Oversee the daily business operations of the EMSSP and MSCII. Assist the program director: maintain calendar, active participation in team meetings. Coordinate meetings and conferences. Maintain records for the office. Participate in student activities, seminars, and summer programming. Coordinate with the Boston University Admissions and Student Affairs Offices, BU Undergraduate and Graduate School Administrators, and the Office of Program and Curricular Evaluation. Assist in the management of the financial aspects of the programs. Required Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years of related experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Engaging interpersonal communication skills especially with students. Prior experience in an academic institution is a plus; ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
