We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting the accounting department by performing a variety of administrative and financial tasks. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations within the office.

Responsibilities:
• Process invoices, manage accounts payable, and handle customer billing tasks with precision.
• Collect and organize vendor and customer documentation, including W-9 forms, insurance certificates, and sales tax exemptions.
• Assist in preparing monthly board meeting packets and ensure timely distribution.
• Maintain and organize Board Minutes and Packets in binders by month for easy reference.
• Create well-formatted presentation slides by adjusting layouts and checking for grammar and punctuation errors.
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager as needed.
• Greet visitors with a courteous and friendly demeanor while managing incoming mail and shipments.
• Oversee office supplies inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
• File accounting and financial documents systematically for efficient record-keeping.
• Coordinate the handling of elevator and boiler permits and other regulatory tasks.• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and related tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple administrative and financial responsibilities efficiently.
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure timely task completion.
