Youth Respite Care Provider Support a Fun-Loving Child with Autism We are seeking a compassionate, energetic respite care provider to support a fun-loving, non-verbal child with autism in a comfortable home environment. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, playful, and passionate about supporting neurodivergent youth in a safe and positive way. The ideal provider enjoys active play, is open to using ASL (American Sign Language) to support communication, and can create a structured yet fun environment where the child can thrive. Activities may include backyard play, pool time, sensory-friendly games, and more.

Location: Bloomer, WI Starting Wage: $14.13/hour Schedule: Up to 10 hours/Week

Key Responsibilities Engage the child in fun, sensory-friendly activities such as bubbles, backyard play, and favorite shows (like Cocomelon). Use and understand basic ASL, or be willing to learn. Supervise and support water play (pool, bath, sink play) with safety and patience. Respect personal space and be mindful of sensory sensitivities. Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, in a respectful and supportive manner. Provide hands-on help with daily needs while honoring the childs communication style and autonomy. The Ideal Candidate Active and agile, able to keep up with a playful child who enjoys physical activities (tossing, movement, etc.). Kind, patient, and playful. Attuned to boundaries and supportive of a child who communicates when they need space. Experience with autism or similar needs (preferred). Reliable, with a valid drivers license and transportation. Able to pass a caregiver/criminal background check.
