We are looking for a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead financial strategy and decision-making processes in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in analyzing complex data, developing dynamic financial models, and driving improvements in financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning financial planning with organizational objectives while fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support organizational goals.
• Create and maintain advanced financial models to enable scenario planning, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization or growth.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and dashboards, to provide actionable insights.
• Design, implement, and monitor productivity metrics aligned with strategic objectives across various departments.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure financial plans are integrated with operational strategies.
• Lead initiatives to improve and automate financial processes, tools, and reporting systems.
• Provide support for mergers and acquisitions, capital planning, and investment evaluations as needed.
• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a high-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in FP& A within a large manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and supply chain teams to align financial strategies with production goals and constraints.
