Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee critical system-related projects within our non-profit organization in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage financial systems and donor management platforms while driving key initiatives forward. Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation and optimization of Sage Intacct for financial management and reporting.
• Oversee the integration and enhancement of Give Interactive donor management modules.
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system conversions and project deliverables.
• Coordinate post-launch activities, including the development of budgeting modules.
• Collaborate with finance team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and fund accounting requirements.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to address challenges and maintain progress.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system changes and user training.
• Support the restructuring of the Chart of Accounts and related financial processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project efficiency and compliance.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly with financial systems.• Familiarity with Sage Intacct and its functionalities.
• Knowledge of donor management platforms, such as Give Interactive.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting and general ledger processes.
• Experience managing system conversions and data integrations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Background in grant accounting or finance within a non-profit environment is a plus.
