Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Director to join our team on a contract basis in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior leadership and executives to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Manage and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Oversee recruitment and training programs to attract and develop top talent.
• Ensure employee records are up-to-date and compliant with legal and organizational standards.
• Develop and update employee handbooks to reflect current policies and procedures.
• Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and issue resolution.
• Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct audits to assess adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor and validate data related to HR processes to support effective decision-making.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian.• Strong understanding of benefit functions and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations and resolving workplace issues.
• Knowledge of hiring processes and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with HCM systems and data management practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills to validate and interpret HR-related data.
