Junior Data Analyst – NY

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to support data collection, analysis, and reporting tasks that drive business insights and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data analysis, SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to support data reporting and analytical needs.
• Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources such as SQL databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
• Develop basic dashboards, charts, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.
• Assist in preparing ad hoc and scheduled reports for different business units.
• Document data sources, business definitions, and analytical methods used.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data in reports and dashboards.
• Continuously learn and apply data analysis best practices, tools, and technologies to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
