Pay Range: $16.00 HOURLY +TIPS

Job Summary

Summary: WE ARE SEEKING A FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, AND PROFESSIONAL SKYBOX ATTENDANT TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO GUESTS IN OUR PREMIUM SKYBOX AREAS DURING UTAH JAZZ AND UTAH MAMMOTH GAMES AND SPECIAL EVENTS. THE SKYBOX ATTENDANT WILL ENSURE GUESTS HAVE A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE BY DELIVERING PERSONALIZED SERVICE, MAINTAINING SUITE CLEANLINESS, AND ADDRESSING GUEST NEEDS PROMPTLY. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS PERSONABLE, DETAIL-ORIENTED AND ABLE TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED, HIGH-ENERGY ENVIRONMENT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We will be hiring 2 Skybox Attendants to run operations during Utah Mammoth home games and 4 Skybox Attendants to run operations during Utah Jazz home games.

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival. Take guests' orders, manage Skybox presentation and tidiness.
  • Stock buffet and beverage areas.
  • Relay client needs and update Shift Lead on service status.
  • Build rapport with guests to ensure a great experience.

Pre-Shift:

  • Familiarize yourself with BEOs and Skyboxes.
  • Stock and dry-set Skybox (dry product: popcorn, snack mix, bread, and condiments).
  • Fill water dispensers and Soda R2s.
  • Review any special guest notes or requests.

In-Service:

  • Take and communicate orders, ensure timely delivery.
  • Keep skybox clean and replenish buffet/beverage stations.
  • Check in with guests periodically.

Post-Shift:

  • Clean skybox and reset for next event.
  • Clean and sanitize all service ware that does not return to the scullery department.
  • Return unused product per protocol.
  • Debrief with shift lead.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-energy environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based around event schedule. Typical shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
  • Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
