• Salary Range: $19.35 - $21.35 Hourly

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment to meet Woodland Pond standards, ensuring residents have a homelike quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean and organize all assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nurses stations, utility rooms, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms, and offices. (*CF)
2. Disinfect and sterilize equipment daily.
3. Empty waste baskets and transport trash to proper disposal areas. (*CF)
4. Perform detailed cleaning of furniture, fixtures, ceilings, walls, windows, floors, etc.
5. Report repairs needed immediately, such as leaky faucets, broken windows, or loose fixtures.
6. Maintain safety precautions during housekeeping procedures. (*CF)
7. Assist with training and orientation of new housekeeping staff.
8. Complete all required training and in-services.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HSE preferred.
• Prior relevant experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to write legibly and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Good communication skills, especially with elderly or geriatric populations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and professional appearance.
