Marketing Manager – Social Media & Content Creation
Atlanta, Georgia • Full-time
K5 Hospitality is seeking a creative, hands-on Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on social media, content creation, and design. This role directly supports the Marketing Director in elevating the brand presence of our restaurants through dynamic storytelling, experiential campaigns, and eye-catching visuals. If you live and breathe TikTok and Instagram, thrive in fast-paced creative environments, and love capturing the energy of food, cocktails, and nightlife, this is the role for you.
Please note: This is not a traditional 9–5 job. The hospitality industry requires flexibility, and this role will often involve evenings, weekends, and holidays to capture content and support live events.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Develop and post engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Stay on top of trending audio, hashtags, and viral formats to keep our brands relevant.
- Capture photo and video content at our restaurants and events (some evenings/weekends required).
- Edit short-form videos in CapCut (or similar software).
- Write captions, hashtags, and hooks tailored for performance and brand voice.
Graphic Design & Brand Support
- Create menus, flyers, signage, and social graphics using Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
- Update design assets for seasonal pop-ups, rooftop activations, and holiday promotions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to execute creative campaigns across all restaurants.
Marketing Operations & Campaigns
- Support marketing campaigns across all K5 Hospitality brands (5Church Midtown, 5Church Buckhead, AltaToro, Virtue Rooftop, and seasonal pop-ups).
- Build and send email campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Help manage paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager to drive reservations and event inquiries.
- Assist in organizing influencer collaborations, press shoots, and video/photo sessions.
- Manage posting schedules, content calendars, and campaign timelines.
- Track engagement metrics and provide weekly performance recaps.
- Coordinate with operations and culinary teams to ensure consistent messaging, menus, and promotions.
Sales & Private Event Support
- Work closely with the Sales team to promote private dining, group events, buyouts, and seasonal party packages.
- Create targeted social posts, email campaigns, and digital materials that drive event inquiries.
- Capture and share content from private events to showcase offerings and generate future bookings.
- Partner with Sales to align messaging across social, web, and email for consistency and impact.
Event & Experiential Marketing
- Attend and capture content at large-scale events, themed pop-ups, and seasonal activations.
- Support holiday campaigns (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s, etc.) with visuals and social promotion.
- Assist with press nights, influencer events, and community partnerships.
- Provide on-site marketing support during restaurant events and activations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn trends with proven content creation experience.
- Proficiency in CapCut (or similar video editing), Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Mailchimp.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple projects.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Photography and/or videography skills are a strong plus.
- Creative thinker with a “jump in wherever needed” mindset—no task is too small.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
