Overview

Wolfgang Puck Catering is hiring immediately for a full-time BARISTA position. Location: Workday - 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Pay Range: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. Previous barista experience required.

Responsibilities

• Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items according to standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts cash and card payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies; maintains cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following production standards.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction; relays concerns to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently; helps prevent delays in serving lines.
• Explains daily menu items accurately and assists customers in decision-making.
• Supports selling techniques to customers and assists in upselling where appropriate.
• Ensures display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly per standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience required.
