Overview

Vice President of Human Resources | PHR, SHRM-CP Take ownership. Move fast. Make it better. At Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, we’re scaling fast and we’re looking for a Director of Supply Chain who’s ready to lead from the front. This isn’t a “steady state” role. It’s a high-impact leadership position for someone who thrives on accountability, speed, and building systems that drive performance. If you’re decisive, thrive in ambiguity, and want to build something meaningful while holding others to a high standard, you’ll fit right in. About Us

Beecher’s Handmade Cheese is a category-defining brand known for our iconic “World’s Best” Mac & Cheese, award-winning artisan cheeses, and unrelenting commitment to real food made with integrity. We’re part of the Sugar Mountain family of brands, including Mishima Reserve and The Butcher’s Table, all united by our mission to Change the Way America Eats. We operate like a high-growth startup: lean, fast-moving, and focused. We move quickly, solve real problems, and make decisions with the best available data then adjust on the fly. For the past 6 years, we’ve been recognized as a Great Place to Work and we’re proud of the value-driven, mission-forward culture that fuels our growth. The Role

As Director of Supply Chain, you’ll own and scale Beecher’s supply chain strategy across frozen entrees and artisan cheeses. This role blends strategic leadership with decisive day-to-day execution. You’ll lead vendor accountability, build systems for growth, and ensure Beecher’s delivers on quality and service while scaling rapidly. This is both a builder and driver role, perfect for someone who’s motivated by results, thrives under pressure, and knows how to translate complexity into action. What You’ll Do

Set direction and lead decisively. Own supply chain operations across inventory, logistics, co-manufacturers, 3PLs, and suppliers. Drive measurable performance. Improve KPIs like fill rate, cost per case, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy and hold vendors accountable. Build scalable systems. Implement ERP workflows, vendor scorecards, and forecasting tools that drive growth without adding bureaucracy. Solve problems in real time. Address packaging delays, shipping disruptions, or forecast misses with urgency. Lead with accountability. Set clear expectations with teams and partners and hold people to them. Collaborate cross-functionally. Align with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production to ensure seamless execution and strong results. Leverage technology. Use ERP, Excel, and AI-driven planning tools to sharpen forecasting, planning, and decision-making. Develop your team. Coach and mentor the supply chain team to execute with excellence and grow into bigger roles. Who You Are

7+ years in supply chain/operations, ideally in food/CPG with co-manufacturing and perishable product experience. Results-driven: you set a high bar and don’t stop until it’s met. Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift. Analytical thinker who communicates clearly and makes confident calls with imperfect data. Strong vendor management skills: you hold suppliers, 3PLs, and partners accountable without hesitation. Skilled in ERP systems, Excel, and planning tools; AI-enabled forecasting or reporting experience a plus. Leadership experience building high-performing teams and cross-functional trust. Bias for action and accountability: you fix problems, you don’t admire them. What We Offer

Salary Range: $140,000 – $165,000 base + annual bonus plan Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k): Company match included PTO & Holidays: Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Employee Perks: 35% discount at all Sugar Mountain locations Purpose-Driven: Support food education through the Beecher’s Foundation, which helps kids make healthier choices for life Commitment to Our Communities

Sugar Mountain has created the Beecher’s Foundation, a nonprofit funded by a portion of sales from companies under the Sugar Mountain umbrella. The Foundation educates about food additives and healthy eating choices for life. We are committed to fostering a workplace where individuals of all cultures, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and abilities feel valued, respected, and empowered, and we strive to build a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
