We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. As a Cardiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related conditions, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community. You will be involved in a variety of cardiology projects, from conducting diagnostic tests to performing complex surgical procedures, all aimed at providing top-notch cardiac care. This position is vital to our organization as we strive to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our patients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, utilizing the latest medical technologies and treatment methods to ensure positive patient outcomes. Strong expertise in cardiology, exceptional patient care, and a commitment to staying abreast of advancements in the field are key for success in this role. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with various heart conditions. Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, catheterization, and electrophysiology studies. Interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients. Counsel patients on heart disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to cardiology. Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Cardiology. Licenses to practice as a Cardiologist. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiac conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of cardiology. Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a Duties: Inpatient rounding, STEMI and cardiology consults, interventional cases, and TEE procedures EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
