Job Summary Join a leading diagnostic information services provider as a
Medical Technologist . You2ll be responsible for performing a variety of routine and non-routine laboratory tests with
precision
and
compliance , contributing directly to critical healthcare decisions. This position requires strong attention to regulatory standards and the ability to operate in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform test analyses, specimen processing, and result reporting according to lab protocols.
Maintain accurate records of all testing and quality control procedures.
Analyze specimens using approved SOPs and review/release results.
Follow all applicable CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
Document calibrations, maintenance, and quality control activities.
Identify and troubleshoot deviations in testing systems and processes.
Notify senior technologist or supervisor of issues affecting results.
Report STAT or critical test results according to department procedure.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of lab and department.
Ensure reagents/test kits are labeled and tracked correctly.
Participate in monthly department meetings and required trainings.
Answer client or lab personnel questions when applicable.
Support government or regulatory inspections if required.
Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology — OR — Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Biology and qualified per 42 CFR 493.1433
1+ year clinical experience in high-complexity testing preferred
For BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology: Minimum 1 year of experience in highly complex lab testing
Nice-to-Have Experience
Previous experience with specimen analysis in a regulated laboratory environment
Familiarity with regulatory agency inspections and documentation
Required Skills
Ability to prioritize multiple lab procedures
Strong documentation and record-keeping
Effective interdepartmental and client communication
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA compliance
Proficiency in analyzing quality control data
Customer service in a lab setting
Participation in lab inspections or audits
Additional Skills
Maintaining equipment logs and calibration data
Reviewing new procedures and participating in training
Maintaining departmental appearance and safety standards
Adhering to protocols for critical result reporting
