The New Businesses team leads the creation of new, standalone products at CNN, focusing on separate, non-news experiences that can enrich users’ lives and support the subscription business. Your New Role

The New Businesses team is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and audience-obsessed Director of Product Management, New Business to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for our Health & Wellness product. The ideal candidate will deliver 0-1 products across multiple platforms in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You will partner with design, engineering, program, and editorial leads to prioritize delivery on time and manage the Health & Wellness product roadmap to meet company goals. Your Role Accountabilities

Partner with senior leadership to define the product roadmap, aligning with user needs, value propositions, and market opportunities Champion the voice of the audience, translating user needs into features and experiences that engage and build loyalty Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery to iteration Partner with engineering, editorial, and design to deliver high-quality features on time and at scale Work with growth, data, and marketing teams to ensure the product supports audience goals Collaborate with research to clarify key product questions with user research Drive cross-functional collaboration with executive stakeholders and functional leads to maintain a unified strategic vision Define and monitor product success metrics, reporting progress and learnings to leadership Lead and coach a growing team of product managers, fostering a culture of clarity, impact, and innovation Partner with platform teams to align roadmaps in support of the product Your Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in consumer digital products—ideally in media or wellness content Proven ability to lead in matrixed, cross-functional environments with senior stakeholders Strong strategic thinking, product intuition, and decision-making grounded in audience insights and data Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to distill complexity into clarity for technical and non-technical audiences Experience with product analytics, A/B testing, and iterative optimization to drive engagement and retention Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, experimentation, and urgency are valued Passion for journalism, news, and CNN’s mission to inform and empower audiences How We Get Things Done
