Duties
This role presents an exciting opportunity to help drive this transformation as the Sr. Manager of IT Services Sourcing. This key position will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of IT Services (IT Consulting & Managed Services) category strategies to maximize McDonald’s value through strategic sourcing and vendor management.
Reporting to the Director of IT Services Sourcing, the Senior Manager will be responsible for executing global sourcing efforts within these categories, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver value.
The Senior Manager will contribute to driving continuous innovation and improvements within the sourcing process to support broader business priorities.
Responsibilities
Support Category Strategy Execution:
Assist in the execution of sourcing strategies for IT Services categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the broader sourcing strategy.
Stakeholder Support:
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, providing insights and contributing to tailored sourcing strategies that deliver value globally.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Provide strategies and frameworks to manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
Category Plan Support:
Assist in developing and executing strategic category plans, including cost savings, risk management, and process optimization.
Negotiation Support:
Contribute to and help lead negotiations to meet business requirements and support complex agreements and SLAs.
Innovation Contribution:
Drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and innovation aligned with the company’s broader strategies.
Risk & Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure sourcing strategies and supplier relationships align with McDonald’s compliance and risk frameworks.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to process improvements, performance metrics, and benchmarks to improve sourcing outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with team members to support sourcing projects and develop team capabilities.
Performance Motivation:
Coach and mentor the IT Services category team for growth.
Qualifications
Minimum 4-year degree
5+ years of relevant experience in a highly complex, global environment
Experience in conducting influential discussions with executive leaders
Strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor relationship management, with excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred: Background with sourcing Information Technology, particularly consulting and managed services
Skills Procurement Industry Expertise, Strategic Thinking, Executive Presence / Communications, Advanced Sourcing, Contracting Knowledge, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Project Management, Financial Acumen

Salary Range: $129,800.00 - $165,490.00
