Whaling City Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Director/Manager to oversee the service department in New London, CT. The ideal candidate will manage all service operations, ensure high-quality customer service, maintain efficient workflow, and drive profitability within the service department. Responsibilities
Manage service department operations and ensure excellence in customer service Supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff Develop and implement service policies and procedures Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvement strategies Oversee service scheduling and workflow to optimize efficiency Develop and implement service strategies to meet customer needs Manage service technicians and administrative staff Maintain customer experience focus and ensure safety and environmental compliance Requirements
Prior experience in automotive service management (3+ years preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Proven ability to maximize service department profitability Knowledge of automotive technology and industry trends Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Clean driving record and valid driver's license Benefits
Competitive salary range of $95,000 - $206,200 per year paid weekly. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, employee discounts on vehicle services, and other standard offerings. About the Company
