Responsibilities
Creative Development
– Lead design from concept through production across digital, print, motion graphics, direct mail, presentations, signage, and more, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Brand Stewardship
– Serve as a subject matter expert on Andrews Federal’s brand identity, enforcing and evolving guidelines to maintain a unified brand voice across all channels. Ensure brand cohesion by developing content that translates well across multiple platforms.
Collaboration & Strategy
– Partner with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Campaign Manager, Social Media Specialist, copywriters, and cross-department stakeholders to brainstorm, strategize, and execute high-quality creative solutions.
Content Creation
– Produce and schedule engaging graphics for a wide range of materials. Be able to work in a quick and agile fashion to produce high-quality content for social media, online display ads, YouTube videos, TV commercials, flyers, branded collateral, direct mail, email, internal slide decks, signage, and other marketing materials.
Project Management
– Coordinate design work with internal and external partners, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Quality Control
– Maintain design files in the Digital Asset Management System, oversee pre-press best practices, and ensure all outputs meet compliance and accessibility standards.
Innovation
– Stay current on design trends, technologies, and best practices; bring fresh ideas that enhance member experience and marketing performance.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
– Ensure all creative deliverables meet industry regulations, Andrews Federal policies, and Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
Other Duties
– Provide creative support for ad hoc requests, presentations, and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Expert level competency of Adobe Creative Cloud software especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro as well as presentation software such as Keynote and/or PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of marketing, graphic design, or digital design experience (preferably in the credit union, bank, or financial services industry).
HTML/CSS experience with working knowledge of Web Content Management Systems preferred.
Possess a strong foundation of graphic design fundamentals (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.).
Outstanding creativity, enthusiasm, sense of humor and team spirit.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Calm, flexible and able to work under pressure with short deadlines.
Ability to manage projects in an agile work environment a plus.
Experience in a collaborative team environment.
Strong desire to continue evolving brand standards and visual designs
BONUS SKILLS
Motion graphics or video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Rush, or Express).
Microsoft SharePoint or similar CMS knowledge.
Experience with digital accessibility standards (WCAG).
Prior experience in credit union, banking, or financial services marketing.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree required
