RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth in our Texas/Oklahoma market by selling Audit, Tax, and Consulting services to clients within the Business & Professional Services (BPS) industry segments across the market. This role targets new clients in fields such as marketing and advertising, environmental and facility services, workforce solutions, architecture/engineering, law, accounting and consulting firms, and other BPS entities. The BD Director will lead growth across Audit, Tax, and Consulting services with a focus on the Texas/Oklahoma market. A competitive base salary with a lucrative, uncapped incentive compensation plan is offered. A proven track record in selling professional services is desired. Position Summary

RSM is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth in the Texas/Oklahoma market by selling Audit, Tax, and Consulting services to new clients in the Business Services / Professional Services industry (BPS). The role focuses on bringing in new clients and selling all RSM services within the Texas/Oklahoma market, targeting such firms as marketing and advertising, environmental and facility services, workforce solutions, architecture/engineering, law, accounting and consulting firms. The BD Director will drive growth of the firm\'s three primary functional areas: Audit, Tax, and Consulting. Sales of professional services include but are not limited to Tax and Audit annuity contracts, Fund Administration, Technical Accounting Consulting, Financial and Accounting Outsourcing, Valuation, Risk/Internal Audit, SOC/Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, Information Technology/System Selection, Cost Auditing and Cost Segregation. Responsibilities
: Sourcing and qualifying opportunities with companies currently not served by the firm. Executing the sales plan and process, coordinating internal and external resources to position the firm to secure the business. Actively leverage networking contacts, professional affiliations, industry groups and Centers of Influence. Collaborate with local and national industry leaders to identify and target key companies, discerning existing clients, prospects and related entities. Support Partners, Principals, Directors and Senior Managers in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate. Develop go-to-market plans with local and national marketing resources for the industry teams. Provide ongoing market opportunity feedback in partnership with National Sales Organization management. Basic Qualifications
: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 10+ years of experience selling professional services to corporations with revenues from $20 million to over $1 billion. Experience leading complex sales processes with multiple team members and decision makers (primarily C-suite). Experience working with middle market BPS companies (assets of $100 million to $5 billion). Strong COI network (banking, legal and other professional services relationships) to identify opportunities within assigned industry groups. Ability to drive a complex sale cycle from identification through close. Ability to participate in/manage RFP and SOW processes. Experience leveraging a CRM tool for reporting and sales tracking. Experience using social media for networking. Excellent influence and negotiation skills; strong executive presence and business acumen. Self-motivated with strong time management; willingness to travel (local and overnight as needed). Preferred Qualifications
: Active network of C-level contacts in and around TX/OK, with focus on real estate. Community involvement with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groups.
