We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth in the Texas/Oklahoma market by selling Audit, Tax, and Consulting services to clients within the Business & Professional Services (BPS) industry segments across the market. The role focuses on bringing in new clients in the BPS space, targeting marketing and advertising firms, environmental and facility services companies, workforce solutions organizations, architecture/engineering firms, law firms, accounting and consulting firms — selling all RSM services within the Texas/Oklahoma market. The BD Director leads growth in the firm’s Audit, Tax, and Consulting services and sales of professional services including but not limited to Tax and Audit annuity contracts, Fund Administration, Technical Accounting Consulting, Financial and Accounting Outsourcing, Valuation, Risk/Internal Audit, SOC/Sarbanes-Oxley 404, IT/System Selection, Cost Auditing and Cost Segregation. The BD Director will lead all aspects of the sales process, including systematic prospect targeting, opportunity-specific sales strategy, and quarterbacking the entire process. This individual builds and maintains strong sales pipelines and forecasts, prepares and facilitates presentations/proposals, closes sales, and finalizes agreements with customers. The role involves collaboration with industry and line-of-business leaders to co-lead growth through direct prospecting, networking, and participation in industry groups and associations. The position offers a competitive base salary plus a lucrative, uncapped incentive compensation plan and requires a candidate with a proven track record in selling professional services. Responsibilities

Sourcing and qualifying opportunities with companies not currently served by the firm. Execute the sales plan and process, coordinating internal and external resources to position the firm for success. Network with professional affiliations, industry groups, and Centers of Influence. Collaborate with local and national industry teams to identify key companies, discern clients/prospects, and recognize related entities (e.g., joint ventures, management companies). Support Partners, Principals, Directors, and Senior Managers in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate. Work with marketing resources to develop targeted go-to-market plans for the industry teams supported. Provide ongoing feedback to National Sales Organization on market opportunities. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 10+ years of experience selling professional services to corporations with revenues from $20 million to over $1 billion. Experience leading complex sales processes with multiple team members and multiple decision makers (primarily C-suite). Experience with middle market BPS companies (assets $100 million to $5 billion). Network of COIs (banking, legal, and other professional services) to identify opportunities within assigned industry groups. Ability to drive a complex sales cycle from identification through close. Ability to manage RFP and SOW processes. Experience using a CRM for reporting and sales tracking. Experience leveraging social media for networking. Excellent influence and negotiation skills; strong executive presence and business acumen. Self-motivated with strong time management; willingness to travel (local and overnight when needed). Preferred Qualifications

Active network of C-level contacts in the TX/OK market, with focus on real estate. Community involvement with industry associations, civic or non-profit groups. Salary is commensurate with experience and location; compensation range for this role is $136,800 - $242,000. Individuals selected may be eligible for sales commissions and a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
